Dumbbell exercises are a great choice for people who are looking to get started and can be performed every day or ever other day. These can be great toning exercises that can help with your hands and legs area where it can tighten the skins or add muscles rather than fat. Dumbbell exercises are basically weight lifting exercises where you can use standard adjustable dumbbells or any object than is sufficiently heavy that you can lift a set number of times. Two great exercises you can do are the overhead press and dumbbell dead lift.
Let me explain to you how the dead lift is done properly.
Dumbbell dead lift - you are required to use a dumbbell for each hand, slowly bending the body to end in a half squat position. first step is to stand erect holding two dumbbells and slowly go down to a half squat, still holding the dumbbell that touches the floor then slowly reverse the process by lifting your body up. Tighten your body and abdomen muscles while doing the process. Most common mistake in this type of exercise is when a person curves his back during the upward and downward motion. Proper posture is important in the effectively of the exercise. Target areas for this exercise are your Back, Butt and Hips, and legs especially the thighs. Do this repetitively and add more weight as you get stronger so that you can see an increase in muscle mass.
Losing a lower weight is thought to be a better idea if you wish purely to tone the muscles. Doing the exercise at a slightly faster pace will help you burn fat, just don't overdo it or you could end up injuring yourself.
