Free List of Foreclosed Homes
If you search for foreclosures online, you'll soon learn that most of the websites that list foreclosures charge a fee for the service. You could easily go through half a dozen sites without finding one that will allow you to access the information you really need, such as the name and phone number of the listing agent, without paying for at least a free trial.
And then there are the sites that don't charge you anything up front, but require your phone number and e-mail address in order to access the so-called free foreclosed homes list. All right, maybe you don't have to get out your credit card, but now you are going to be subjected to junk e-mails and telemarketing calls.
So how do you find free websites for foreclosed homes? There are a few of them out there if you are persistent enough to keep looking, or you can just take advantage of the work I've already done to find them for you. Here are the best foreclosed home sites on the Internet.
My all-time favorite foreclosure listing site is Free Foreclosure Database. This site will tell you everything you need to know in order to contact the listing agent about the properties you're interested in and they don't ask for anything in return, not even your e-mail address. The only thing I really don't like about this site is that you have to look at the listings for each city individually. I would love it if they would let you view all of the listings for an entire state, or least an entire county, at once.
Another foreclosure listing site that provides a good selection of listing is AllHud. This is one of those sites that requires you to give up your contact information in order to find out what you need to do to bid on the property. However, they let you view the listings by county, so the navigation is a bit more user-friendly than at Free Foreclosure Database.
