So you want to change up the atmosphere of a room for yourself or your business? There are many ways to go about this. You could redecorate or spend a small fortune on an interior face-lift. The easiest way to change up the atmosphere (well for night time anyway) is to put in some fancy candles and candle holders. These can range from hanging candles, putting them on tables or even putting them up on your walls. This article will give you a few good tips on how to go about changing the mood of your room with these elements.

First you need to compile some data on where you want your candles to go. Look at the current color scheme, the surroundings and mood. Do you want something that will attract and stand out? Or do you want something a little more subtle and subdued? Make a list of what the environment is like and look for places to put candles. It can be on the table, or they could be wall mounted like candle sconces.

Next, with your data in mind, check out some stores. Always have a look at a physical store first before going online. It is hard to get a sense of scale, smell and mood that a candle may bring, just by looking at a computer screen.  Go in and smell, pick up and look at your candle and candle holder. Think about whether or not you want a candle holder that compliments or stands out from the candle. Think about where your candles are going to go in context to the surroundings.

There are many options out there to changing the mood of your room. Have fun and look around a little. Do lots of research and look in different interior design magazines. You never know what you might find by having a good look around.
