Terry nappies are a kind of nappy or diaper which is simple, cheap yet most comfy for your child. The reason they are simple is because they are simply a square shape. They do not have any bells and whistles and thus are easy to wash, easy to store, easy to wrap your baby’s bottom in and easy to buy, especially when you consider the plethora of online cloth nappy and diaper stores available to parents these days.

They are also a cheap option because a full set of terry nappies for full-time use on your baby or child will cost you no more than a few hundred dollars - and that would be if you were buying the best quality organic or other natural-fiber nappy squares. Many department stores offer terry nappies at a budget price and although these are unlikely to be organic, they will be natural fiber and comfy enough for baby and very easy on your wallet.

Terry nappies are the most comfortable nappy option for your baby/child because they fit the baby exactly. Rather than being a shape that has to be pulled up between the child’s legs and then fastened with tabs at the sides, a terry nappy is more like a wrap that fits neatly over baby’s bottom and also if much better at containing those runny baby poos that often threaten to attack the whole of baby’s nice clean outfit!

They are also obviously much more comfortable for baby than disposable nappies, because disposables are scratchy and hard, they are made of wood pulp and plastic and they don’t breathe, and they rarely fit properly because they only come in a few sizes but baby grows all the time so he or she won’t always fit properly in any size.

Terry nappies are also the best option for the environment, being simple to produce and having a long lifespan.
